Business Development Manager (FF&E)

At Leap Hospitality we thrive to exceed our client's expectations within the Restaurant & Hospitality Industry and are looking to bring on a like minded individual to join our team. The BDM will be responsible for servicing and retaining customer accounts within specified territories as well as driving new sales and development deals.

Concept Development, Contract Furniture and Hospitality Recruitment is what we do best. Leap Hospitality specializes in new-restaurant and bar-concept development. We build brands and experiences that exceed customer expectations. We work through the front-of-the-house décor package and manufacture or source custom-built restaurant furniture that will meet each concept's budget through our extensive value-engineering process without sacrificing design intent. Leap Hospitality also works with regional and national chains, hotels, casinos, restaurant suppliers, food equipment manufacturers, and restaurant distributors to recruit the best talent to drive growth and value.

The Ideal Candidate : to be successful within Leap's environment the ideal candidate will have experience working within the Restaurant/Hospitality Industry within Operations, Construction, Project Management or Business Development. This candidate will be service oriented, incentive driven, humble, entrepreneurial and bring the energy to build something special.

Responsibilities :

  • Manage and develop customer relationships, service/product planning
  • Sell/Market services directly to individual restaurants, regional/national chains and hotels
  • Responsible for developing and supporting sales growth
  • Manage entire project from initial contact through completion
  • Identify client's needs and create custom project plans
  • Design effective marketing strategies and meeting presentations
  • Assist in developing and monitoring budgets
  • Partner with decision makers within organization
  • Keeping up with market conditions/trends, product design and price changes
  • Selling into strategic opportunities, including national hotel brands, developers and management companies, purchasing groups, architects and FF&E providers.
  • Manage RFP and detailed quote requests
  • Actively participate in brand and industry tradeshows and events.
  • Maintain pipelines, CRM tools and data bases.
  • Deploy sales strategies and tactics that effectively identify long term trends.
  • Work at the ground level to deliver short term project sales.



  • Bachelor's Degree
  • 5+ years of experience within Restaurant/Hospitality Operations, Construction or Project Management
  • Proven success within Sales, Marketing or Business Development
  • Experience with construction, restaurant design a plus
  • Ability to work independently and self motivate
  • Stable work history
  • Results driven, high energy and entrepreneurial
