Director, Casino Procurement

Leap Hospitality is looking for a Director, Casino Procurement who will be responsible for all activities pertaining to procurement and purchasing for the company’s multi-site operations including the solicitation of bids, preparation of purchase requisitions, approving and issuing purchasing orders, all in accordance with company policy and expected standards.

 

Responsibilities

  • Prepare purchase requisitions, approve and issues purchase orders in accordance with company policy and negotiated terms and conditions
  • Responsible for planning, developing and buying materials, parts, supplies and equipment's in a timely and cost effective way; while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
  • Responsible for all activities pertaining to procurement and purchasing for all operations.
  • Analyzes market, traffic and vendor conditions for quality, availability and price of material.
  • Prepares instruction regarding system and procedures in accordance with Company Policy and Internal Control.
  • Participates in professional organizations that promoted the development of the company.
  • Implement procurement needs, strategy and policies.
  • Ensure supplier compliance with site and company requirements for safety
  • Manage vendor relationships and assist in building effective partnerships.
  • Assist department in developing and implementing purchasing strategies for products
  • Responsible for planning, developing and managing an intricate variety of purchases in a timely and cost effective way, while maintaining appropriate quality standards and specifications.
  • Monitor macro trends in supplier and contract base and implement plans to react.
  • Negotiate and secure lower cost agreements for materials and services, thoroughly review all quotations and work to ensure procurement strategies within all negotiated and appropriately approved terms.

 

Requirements:

  • The successful candidate should possess a college degree and a minimum of 5 to 10 years of multi-site procurement and/or related management experience.
  • Must possess strong negotiation, communication, leadership, decision-making, and analytical skills with a willingness to adapt and learn.
  • Must continually execute excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Stratton-Warren highly preferred.
