Catering Sales

Our client, a growing national brand, is looking for a Catering Sales Manager to grow sales primarily through their own efforts. The Catering Sales Manager’s sales focus is mainly aimed to acquire, maintain and grow large orders and large catering accounts.  

Responsibilities

  • Develop a sales plan for their market while adhering to the core sales practices established by their direct supervisor.
  • Prospect for new business through cold calls via phone and in person as well as uncovering potential from existing customer data base.
  • Set up in person presentations for groups of 5 or more prospect customers, to provide taste testing of our product with the goal of acquiring their business.
  • Track sales performance, and actively utilizes sales reports to prepare for high sales rollover weeks.
  • Follow up timely on all leads from their own efforts as well as leads forwarded by operators, peers, direct supervisor, etc.

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred
  • Proven track record of increasing sales in catering/event program 
  • 3+ years of outside sales experience growing sales through own efforts, including prospecting, cold calling and growing existing customer base.
